Whole House Water Filtration Stages

  1. Catalytic conversion takes place in 3 stages. This converts calcium and magnesium hardness into harmless crystals through the process of the 3 different catalytic surfaces
  2. KDF media eliminates chlorine, chloramines, lead, heavy metals and bacteria
  3. Along with the KDF Media, there are a minimum of 14 high-strength magnets inside the main filter tank which helps in the creation of a catalytic conversion process that temporarily holds calcium and magnesium hardness molecules in a suspended crystalized, solid form for over 24 hours

How Our Water Filtration & Conditioning System Works

Through a complex 6-stage process the Agape Waters Water Treatment System, (in conjunction with our 5-micron post-carbon filter,) eliminates chlorine, chloramines, lead, heavy metals, chromium-6, pesticides, bacteria, and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds,) greatly reducing hard water calcium and magnesium scale from forming and lowering the surface tension in the water. This 6-stage process includes a double high-strength magnetic pass, a 3-chamber catalytic surface treatment, and KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) media flow through. With the water being in an up-flow stream, no regeneration backwash maintenance is required and the high-strength magnets act as the power source which means that no electrical power source is needed. What Is KDF Process Media?

We can explain redox (oxidation reduction process) like this: KDF Fluid Treatment's unique combination of copper and zinc creates an electro-chemical reaction. During this reaction, electrons are transferred between molecules, and new elements are created. Some harmful contaminants are changed into harmless components. Free chlorine, for instance, is changed into benign, water-soluble chloride, which is then carried harmlessly through the water supply. Similarly, some heavy metals such as copper, lead, mercury and others, react to plate out onto the medium's surface, thus being effectively removed from the water supply.

Where is KDF Process Media used?

KDF Process Media is used in a variety of pretreatment, primary treatment, commercial, and industrial applications. It is generally used in place of, or in conjunction with, granular activated carbon filters, even carbon block or inline filters. KDF Process Media extends the life of granular activated carbon (GAC) while protecting the carbon bed against fouling from bacterial growth.
