Through a complex 6-stage process the Agape Waters Water Treatment System, (in conjunction with our 5-micron post-carbon filter,) eliminates chlorine, chloramines, lead, heavy metals, chromium-6, pesticides, bacteria, and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds,) greatly reducing hard water calcium and magnesium scale from forming and lowering the surface tension in the water. This 6-stage process includes a double high-strength magnetic pass, a 3-chamber catalytic surface treatment, and KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) media flow through. With the water being in an up-flow stream, no regeneration backwash maintenance is required and the high-strength magnets act as the power source which means that no electrical power source is needed. This Agape Waters Custom Water Treatment System is unique to the industry and patent pending with a service life of 12+ years. All parts and materials are made in the U.S.A.
What Is KDF Process Media?
We can explain redox (oxidation reduction process) like this: KDF Fluid Treatment's unique combination of copper and zinc creates an electro-chemical reaction. During this reaction, electrons are transferred between molecules, and new elements are created. Some harmful contaminants are changed into harmless components. Free chlorine, for instance, is changed into benign, water-soluble chloride, which is then carried harmlessly through the water supply. Similarly, some heavy metals such as copper, lead, mercury and others, react to plate out onto the medium's surface, thus being effectively removed from the water supply.
Where is KDF Process Media used?
KDF Process Media is used in a variety of pretreatment, primary treatment, commercial, and industrial applications. It is generally used in place of, or in conjunction with, granular activated carbon filters, even carbon block or inline filters. KDF Process Media extends the life of granular activated carbon (GAC) while protecting the carbon bed against fouling from bacterial growth.

Our custom-made series of units are quite possibly the most environmentally friendly multi-purpose Chemical Free water filter system ever produced. The system also treats water hardness and scale.
Old fashioned water hardness treatment systems rely on sodium ion exchange which can have adverse effects to both people and the environment. While ion exchange systems substitute salt (sodium) for calcium, the eco-friendly conditioning system transforms dissolved calcium and magnesium into crystallized calcium and magnesium. Calcium and magnesium in their crystallized state are rendered harmless and free from their objectionable scaling effects.
The Agape Waters Custom Water Filtration System has many uses. It is used where superior water is desired for both taste and functional use. It is also used where scale prevention is required, such as water heater pre-treatment, reverse osmosis pre-treatment, etc.
The Agape Waters Custom Filtration System is also used for whole-house salt-free, chemical-free water conditioning and descaling.
While we often think of plastic pollution as visible bottles and bags, a hidden threat lurks beneath the surface: microplastics. These tiny plastic fragments, less than 5 millimeters in diameter, are infiltrating our water sources at an alarming rate.
Microplastics come from various sources, including:
Breakdown of larger plastic items: Plastic bottles, bags, and microbeads in cosmetics.
Synthetic clothing: Fleece jackets and other synthetic fabrics shed microplastics during washing.
Tire dust: As tires wear down, tiny rubber particles become microplastics.
Industrial processes: Certain industrial processes generate microplastics as byproducts.
The Impact: Unfortunately, a number of studies over the last 15 years have shown how microplastics make their way into the water supply. Contact us to learn more about water filtration systems to protect you and your family.
In water-intensive appliances, the mineral content in unfiltered water can lead to scale buildup, reducing the efficiency and lifespan of these appliances. Whole house water filtration systems, by mitigating hard water effects, extend the longevity of these appliances by up to 50%, according to data from the Appliance Standards Awareness Project (ASAP). By preserving the functionality of essential appliances, these filtration systems not only save money on replacements but also promote eco-friendly practices through reduced electronic waste.
Whole-house filtration can even improve your home's air quality by reducing the amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from showering and cooking. This is especially beneficial for those with allergies or respiratory sensitivities.
By factoring in these hidden savings, the upfront cost of a whole-house filtration system becomes even more compelling. It's not just about clean water; it's about protecting your home and your wallet in the long run.
So, ditch the bottled water and embrace the convenience, savings, and spa-like luxury of a whole-house water filtration system. It's an investment in your health, your home, and your future.
Whole-house water filtration systems not only improve the quality of drinking water but also enhance your bathing and showering experience. Chlorine, which is abundant in the water supply can strip away natural oils from the skin, leading to dryness and irritation. A study published in the Journal of Dermatological Science found that individuals with sensitive skin experienced reduced irritation after switching to chlorine-free water. Chlorine can also affect the texture and manageability of hair. Filtered water can help restore hair's natural shine and reduce frizziness.

In Southern California's competitive real estate market, features that enhance a property's value and market appeal are invaluable. Homes equipped with whole house water filtration systems enjoy a distinct advantage, with a potential increase in property value by up to 5%, according to real estate market studies conducted by leading agencies.
What's more, these homes attract environmentally conscious buyers, reinforcing the region's commitment to sustainable living. By integrating whole house filtration, homeowners not only secure their own well-being but also elevate the entire neighborhood, creating a real estate landscape that emphasizes health, quality, and innovation.
The benefits of whole house water filtration systems extend beyond individual households; they foster community health and social responsibility.
By ensuring a clean water supply for all residents, these systems play a pivotal role in reducing waterborne diseases, ultimately lowering the burden on local healthcare facilities. Additionally, by investing in whole house filtration, homeowners demonstrate social responsibility, contributing to the overall well-being of their neighbors. This collective effort not only strengthens community bonds but also sets a precedent for a healthier, more caring society in Southern California.
Popping open a bottle of convenience might quench your thirst, but it comes at a hidden cost. Compared to a home filtration system, bottled water significantly drains your wallet and our planet. Let's break it down:
Financial Drain: A single bottle costs pennies, but the annual tab for daily consumption can reach hundreds. A home filtration system, costing around $100-$200, pays for itself in months, saving you thousands over its lifespan.
Environmental Footprint: Bottled water's journey, from plastic production and transportation to landfill woes, leaves a hefty footprint. Each plastic bottle takes centuries to decompose, polluting our oceans and choking landfills. A study by the University of California, Berkeley, found that bottled water production in the U.S. alone generates 17 million tons of plastic waste per year – enough to fill 1.5 million school buses!
